Pattern Making Workshops

Katie, from Before You Stitch, teaches a variety of pattern drafting workshops throughout the year.

Join us on this 2-day workshop to create a pattern block using your personal measurements that will work as a template for your future creations. You will be able to take this away and make adaptations for your own unique designs. You can also use it as a blueprint to assist you in making changes to sewing patterns you already own, to make them fit exactly as you would like.

Top and Sleeve Pattern Making:

  • Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th August 2025
  • Tuesday 11th & Tuesday 18th November 2025

Trouser Pattern Making:

  • Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd November 2025

Your tutor

Katie has a BA Honors degree in Fashion Design from Leeds Art University. She has a background in working as a Military Tailor following MoD specifications.

Katie teaches at various locations around West Yorkshire, sharing her knowledge and helping sewists get the perfect fit!
