Week 1 - Sewing!

Friday 25th July.

All abilities are welcome - whether you've used a sewing machine before or if it's brand new to you, we will have projects to suit all ages and capabilities.

Week 2 - Cross Stitch

Friday 1st August.

We have a variety of projects to choose from including a bookmark, a keyring and a picture you can frame and hang on your wall (like the unicorn/sewing machine in the picture). There will be many designs to choose from.

You'll leave with finished projects or something you can finish at home.

Week 3 - Embroidery

Friday 8th August.

An opportunity to learn many different embroidery stitches using the embroidery hoop and incorporating them into a project, which will be either finished in class or taken home to complete.

Week 4 - Bargello

Friday 15th August.

If you've not heard of bargello before, it is a type of embroidery where geometric patterns are made with straight stitches on canvas.

We have a number of projects to choose from including keyrings, bookmarks and a plant pot cover.

Week 5 - French Knitting

Tuesday 19th August.

Learn how to create a french knitted braid and use it to decorate a picture frame, hair band, hair clip, keyring and much more!

You'll leave with your own french knitting doll to continue practising your new craft at home.

Week 6 - Macrame

Friday 29th August.

Learn the basic macrame knots with a helpful guide to take way.

We have a variety of different projects you can try - starting off small with a bracelet or a keyring and progressing to a wall hanging or a plant hanger, which can be finished at home if not in class.
